 The first band ever to put a Gaelic lyric into the British Top 10, Clannad have steadily continued to spread the word all over the globe. 
From 'Harry's Game' through BAFTA award winning 'Robin of Sherwood' soundtrack to the Bono duetted 'In A Lifetime' Clannad have and continue to blend the old with the new in a style that is definitely their own. Their influence lies heavily across a whole spectrum of Celtic music from Riverdance to the Titanic soundtrack. Their appeal crosses all generations and they now even find themselves a hit on the current dance scene thanks to their recent collaboration with Chicane on the Top 10 hit 'Saltwater'. After many nominations Clannad finally won a Grammy award for their most recent album 'Landmarks'. At present they are working on a live album for release later this year.
